Description

Delightful strawberry cinnamon rolls combining sweet strawberries with the comforting taste of cinnamon for a warm, gooey treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, water, and egg.
  3. Then, combine the wet and dry ingredients to form a dough.
  4. Knead until smooth and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread chopped strawberries evenly over the dough.
  7. Mix cinnamon and brown sugar together, then sprinkle over the strawberries.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and slice it into rolls.
  9. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  11. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until they are golden brown.
  12. For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar, cream cheese, and milk until smooth.
  13. Drizzle this mixture over the warm rolls before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with glaze drizzled on top. Pairs well with ice cream or fresh strawberries.
