- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup chocolate chips (melting chocolate or candy melts)
- Red, white, and blue decorative sprinkles
Instructions
- Combine crushed Oreo cookies and softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until well blended.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Refrigerate the balls for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the chocolate chips according to package instructions.
- Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Decorate with red, white, and blue sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
- Let the chocolate set by refrigerating again until firm. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Store any leftover Oreo cream cheese balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for a couple of months, with parchment paper separating each ball.
