- 1 Beef Chuck Roast
- 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 2 cups Beef Broth
- 2 Bell Peppers, sliced
- ½ cup Pepperoncini Peppers
- Hoagie Rolls
Instructions
- Prepare the beef by trimming excess fat from the beef chuck roast and seasoning it with salt and pepper.
- Sear the roast in a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Add the seared beef to your slow cooker.
- Add the sliced bell peppers on top of the beef, then pour in the beef broth, and add the Italian seasoning and pepperoncini peppers.
- Cook on low for 480 minutes or on high for about 240 minutes until the beef is tender.
- Shred the beef using two forks and return it to the slow cooker, stirring it into the juices.
- Serve the Italian beef on toasted hoagie rolls, spooning some cooking juices over the top.
Notes
Adjust the spice levels to your preference. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen for three months.
