Description

A fun twist on traditional tacos featuring crispy wonton wrappers filled with flavorful shredded chicken.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Wonton wrappers
  • Chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Shredded cabbage or slaw mix
  • Green onions, chopped
  • Soy sauce or a flavorful sauce of your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a muffin tin and mold the wonton wrappers into the cups.
  3. Bake the wonton shells for about 10-12 minutes, or until crispy and golden.
  4. In a pan, heat the vegetable oil. Add the cooked shredded chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined and heated through.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing the chicken mixture into the baked wonton shells. Top with fresh slaw and any desired sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crispiness, ensure you grease the muffin tin well and avoid overfilling the wonton cups.
