- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices of bacon
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, leaving the bacon grease in the pan.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet with the bacon grease. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil if needed, and sear the wrapped chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place the seared chicken in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle the sautéed garlic over the chicken, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
