Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, leaving the bacon grease in the pan.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet with the bacon grease. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of bacon, securing the ends with toothpicks if necessary.
  6. In the same skillet, add olive oil if needed, and sear the wrapped chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Place the seared chicken in a baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle the sautéed garlic over the chicken, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
