- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
- 1 cup dried cranberries
Instructions
- Line a 9×13 baking dish with foil and lightly spray with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Combine sugar, sour cream, butter, and salt in a heavy saucepan. Melt butter over medium heat, stirring often.
- Bring to a boil, stirring frequently for 10-12 minutes.
- Continue cooking until reaching the soft-ball stage (~238°F), about 8-12 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in white chocolate chips until melted and glossy.
- Add marshmallow creme and vanilla, stirring until smooth.
- Fold in dried cranberries until evenly distributed.
- Pour into the prepared dish and smooth the top. Tap to remove air bubbles.
- Cool to room temperature, then chill for 2-6 hours before cutting into squares.
Notes
Cover loosely with plastic wrap during the first hour of cooling to prevent crusting.
