- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and crushed red pepper flakes.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken in a zip-top bag. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (optional marination).
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade (reserve marinade) and place in the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- Pour reserved marinade over chicken. Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes sticky.
- Add chopped basil leaves, stir well, and cook for 1 minute.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.
