A crisp, sparkling Christmas cocktail featuring bubbly champagne or prosecco, a hint of peppermint, cranberries, and a candy cane stir-stick.

- 1 bottle chilled champagne, prosecco, or sparkling wine
- ½ cup white cranberry juice or cranberry cocktail
- 1–2 drops peppermint extract (optional)
- Fresh cranberries (for topping)
- ¼ cup coarse sugar (or crushed candy canes)
- Corn syrup, honey, or simple syrup (to stick the sugar)
- 4 mini candy canes (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Glass Rim: Dip the rim of each flute into a shallow plate with a little syrup or honey. Roll in coarse sugar (or crushed peppermint) to create a frosted rim.
- Build the Drink: Add 1–2 tablespoons white cranberry juice to each flute. Add 1 drop peppermint extract to each glass if you want a minty touch. Fill the rest of the glass with chilled sparkling wine.
- Garnish: Drop a handful of fresh cranberries into each glass. Hook a mini candy cane over the rim.
