Description

Create simple, healthy frozen pumpkin yogurt dog treats with just two ingredients. These nutritious and delicious snacks are perfect for cooling down your dog on warm days or as a special reward.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5.3 oz. plain Greek yogurt (ensure it contains no xylitol)
  • 1/2 can pure pumpkin (ensure it is not pumpkin pie filling)

Instructions

  1. Combine the Greek yogurt in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Use the empty yogurt container to measure half a can of pure pumpkin, then add it to the bowl with the yogurt.
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Spoon the mixture into silicone ice cube trays or pipe it onto wax paper.
  5. Freeze the treats for approximately 3 hours, or until they are solid.

Notes

  • Always use 100% pure pumpkin, never pumpkin pie filling, which can contain harmful spices and sweeteners for dogs.
  • Store the finished pumpkin yogurt dog treats in an airtight container or freezer bag in the freezer for up to 3 months to maintain freshness.
