Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, melted butter, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool completely.
- In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth. Spread evenly over the cooled crust.
- In another bowl, combine the pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice. Mix well and spread over the cream cheese layer.
- Spread the whipped topping evenly over the pumpkin layer. Smooth it with a spatula for an even finish.
- If using, sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the whipped topping for added texture.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the layers to set.
- Once chilled, cut into squares and serve. Optionally, top with additional whipped topping before serving.
