- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a mini muffin pan with paper liners or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
- Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
- Fill muffin cups about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow muffins to cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with coconut oil or dairy-free margarine and use almond or oat milk.
- For gluten-free muffins, use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend.
- These muffins freeze well. Store in an airtight container and reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds.
