- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 splash of water
Instructions
- Split the vanilla beans lengthwise and scrape out the seeds.
- Combine seeds, beans, sugar, honey, and water in a food processor.
- Blend until thick and speckled.
- Pour the mixture into a saucepan and heat on low for a few minutes, stirring gently.
- Let it cool and transfer to a clean glass jar for storage.
Notes
