  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C), placing a pizza stone inside if using.
  2. If using store-bought dough, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare the toppings by slicing bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and zucchini. Sauté mushrooms briefly to remove moisture.
  4. Roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness on a floured surface.
  5. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving the edges bare.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top.
  7. Add the prepared vegetables and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
