  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
  • Chopped nuts (optional, e.g., pecans or walnuts)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, soften 8 oz of cream cheese at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. Grate 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese and add it to the cream cheese. Stir until well combined.
  3. Sprinkle in 1 packet (1 oz) of ranch seasoning and mix thoroughly. Fold in 2 tablespoons of finely chopped green onions.
  4. Use your hands to shape the mixture into a ball.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
