This Homemade 3 Musketeers Candy Bar is a nostalgic treat, easy to make and delightfully rich.
Ingredients
Scale
- 11.5 ounces milk chocolate chips
- 8 ounces frozen whipped topping
- 10 ounces Ghirardelli chocolate melting wafers
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
- Add the milk chocolate chips to a large microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave at 50% power for 1 minute. Stir in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, then continue to microwave in 30-second intervals until silky smooth.
- Gently fold the frozen whipped topping into the melted chocolate until fully combined into a thick, creamy mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared 8×8 dish, spreading it evenly and pressing down to ensure a flat surface.
- Place the dish in the refrigerator to chill for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Once chilled, carefully remove the block from the pan using the parchment paper and cut into 1-½ inch pieces.
- Arrange the cut pieces on a large baking dish and keep them in the refrigerator while you melt the chocolate coating.
- Add the Ghirardelli chocolate melting wafers to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power for 1 minute, stir, then add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Continue heating until completely melted and smooth.
- Dip each candy piece into the melted chocolate using two forks, ensuring they are fully covered. Place them back on the baking sheet.
- Return the coated pieces to the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
