Description

This Homemade 3 Musketeers Candy Bar is a nostalgic treat, easy to make and delightfully rich.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 11.5 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces frozen whipped topping
  • 10 ounces Ghirardelli chocolate melting wafers
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper.
  2. Add the milk chocolate chips to a large microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave at 50% power for 1 minute. Stir in 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, then continue to microwave in 30-second intervals until silky smooth.
  3. Gently fold the frozen whipped topping into the melted chocolate until fully combined into a thick, creamy mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared 8×8 dish, spreading it evenly and pressing down to ensure a flat surface.
  5. Place the dish in the refrigerator to chill for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  6. Once chilled, carefully remove the block from the pan using the parchment paper and cut into 1-½ inch pieces.
  7. Arrange the cut pieces on a large baking dish and keep them in the refrigerator while you melt the chocolate coating.
  8. Add the Ghirardelli chocolate melting wafers to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at 50% power for 1 minute, stir, then add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Continue heating until completely melted and smooth.
  9. Dip each candy piece into the melted chocolate using two forks, ensuring they are fully covered. Place them back on the baking sheet.
  10. Return the coated pieces to the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
