Description

A hearty and satisfying Firehouse Hook and Ladder Sub featuring smoked turkey, honey ham, melty Pepper Jack cheese, and crisp fresh toppings on a toasted sub roll. This sandwich is easy to make and perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 sub roll, split lengthwise
  • 2 oz smoked turkey breast, sliced
  • 2 oz honey ham, sliced
  • 2 slices Pepper Jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 tomato slices
  • 2 pickle slices
  • 1/4 small onion, thinly sliced
  • Optional: dash of hot sauce or banana peppers for extra kick

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard inside the split sub roll.
  3. Layer turkey and ham onto the bottom half of the roll.
  4. Place Pepper Jack cheese on top of the meat.
  5. Set the sandwich open-faced on a baking sheet and bake for 6–8 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and top with shredded lettuce, tomato slices, pickle slices, and onion.
  7. Add hot sauce or banana peppers if desired, then close the sandwich and serve warm.
