Crispy Feta Chicken with Hot Honey Drizzle: An Incredible Ultimate Recipe


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and olive oil. Mix until well combined.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the feta mixture, pressing down firmly to ensure an even coating.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet, spaced evenly apart.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the feta is golden brown and crispy.
  7. While the chicken is baking, combine honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until warmed through and combined.
  8. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the hot honey mixture over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
