- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko for extra crunch)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and olive oil. Mix until well combined.
- Dip each chicken breast into the feta mixture, pressing down firmly to ensure an even coating.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet, spaced evenly apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the feta is golden brown and crispy.
- While the chicken is baking, combine honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until warmed through and combined.
- Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the hot honey mixture over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
