- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream, thyme, rosemary, and basil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, making sure it is coated with the sauce.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
