Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, thyme, rosemary, and basil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, making sure it is coated with the sauce.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
  8. Once cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
