A festive and delicious Cranberry Brie Pull-Apart Christmas Tree, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough or biscuit dough (or 12–16 small homemade yeast rolls)
- 200–250 g brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- ½ cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for shine)
- 1 tsp orange zest (optional)
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped
- Pinch salt
- Extra thyme or rosemary sprigs (for garnish)
- Optional: flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray with parchment.
- Cut dough into 12–16 small equal pieces and wrap each cube of brie inside a piece of dough, pinching edges to seal. Arrange dough balls in the shape of a Christmas tree.
- Brush the dough balls with egg wash and bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Meanwhile, mix cranberry sauce, honey, and orange zest.
- As soon as the tree comes out of the oven, brush generously with garlic butter and spoon small dollops of cranberry sauce on top of each dough ball. Add fresh herbs.
- Serve immediately while warm and melty, allowing guests to pull apart each brie-filled bite.
