Description

A festive and delicious Cranberry Brie Pull-Apart Christmas Tree, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough or biscuit dough (or 1216 small homemade yeast rolls)
  • 200250 g brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for shine)
  • 1 tsp orange zest (optional)
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped
  • Pinch salt
  • Extra thyme or rosemary sprigs (for garnish)
  • Optional: flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray with parchment.
  2. Cut dough into 12–16 small equal pieces and wrap each cube of brie inside a piece of dough, pinching edges to seal. Arrange dough balls in the shape of a Christmas tree.
  3. Brush the dough balls with egg wash and bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  4. Meanwhile, mix cranberry sauce, honey, and orange zest.
  5. As soon as the tree comes out of the oven, brush generously with garlic butter and spoon small dollops of cranberry sauce on top of each dough ball. Add fresh herbs.
  6. Serve immediately while warm and melty, allowing guests to pull apart each brie-filled bite.
