Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the peanut butter and softened butter until light and fluffy.
- Add brown sugar and white sugar, beating until well combined, then mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Scoop 2-tablespoon balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Press M&Ms or chocolate chips into the tops of the cookies and sprinkle with holiday sprinkles.
- Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers appear slightly underbaked.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
