- 1 medium head Cabbage
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 medium Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 can Diced Tomatoes
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Beef Broth
Instructions
- Boil cabbage for 5 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
- Brown ground beef with chopped onion and minced garlic in a skillet. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, cooked rice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer half the cabbage, then the beef mixture, then the remaining cabbage.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of cheddar cheese over the top. Pour beef broth evenly over the casserole.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil, add remaining cheese, and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
