Instructions
- Place milk, melted butter, granulated sugar, salt, and egg into your bread machine pan.
- Add flour over the wet ingredients, creating a well in the center.
- Add the yeast to the well.
- Select the dough cycle on your bread machine and start.
- Once the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough from the machine and place it on a lightly floured surface.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, about 12×18 inches.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
- Spread softened butter evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over the butter.
- Roll the dough tightly from the long side.
- Cut the roll into 12 equal slices.
- Place the cinnamon roll slices into a greased baking pan, ensuring they are slightly touching.
- Cover the pan and let the rolls rise in a warm place for about 30-45 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls before serving.
