Description

- 2 drops Pink gel coloring (adjust for desired shade)
- 1 3/4 cups All-purpose flour (sifted)
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda (fresh)
- 1/4 tsp Salt (fine grain)
- 24 pieces Milk chocolate kisses (unwrapped)
Instructions
- Beat the softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is light and aerated.
- Mix in the egg, extracts, and pink coloring until the dough reaches a uniform vibrant color.
- Stir the flour, baking soda, and salt into the creamed mixture until a soft dough forms.
- Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough into smooth balls using the palms of your hands.
- Toss each ball in a bowl of extra sugar until the surface is completely sparkling.
- Bake on a lined sheet at 350°F for 10 minutes until the edges are just set.
- Press a chocolate kiss into each cookie immediately after removing them from the oven.
- Move the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely so the chocolate sets firm.
