Description

Deliciously Easy Berry Lemonade for a Refreshing Summer Sip


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 ½ cups frozen mixed berries
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar, 1 ½ cups of frozen mixed berries, and ½ cup of water. Stir and bring to a gentle boil, simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat, allow to cool, then blend the mixture on high until smooth.
  3. Place 2 cups of ice in a large pitcher and strain the blended berry syrup over the ice, catching any seeds.
  4. Add 1 cup of lemon juice and 3 cups of cold water to the pitcher, stir well and adjust sweetness as needed.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, serve over ice with extra berries or lemon slices.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness as desired; honey can be used too.
  • Modify water based on taste preferences.
